The BME Open House is designed to introduce applicants to our graduate program and the research opportunities through a schedule of tours, presentations, and interviews. Founded in 1968, Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University was one of the first programs in the world, and we consistently remain a top-ranked biomedical engineering program for graduate studies. Being a truly joint program in the Schools of Engineering and Medicine and formally partnered with Cleveland Clinic, our research program is at the heart of a vibrant medical community including the #2 hospital in the country (Cleveland Clinic), University Hospitals, VA and more than 150 medical and bioscience companies.
