Students admitted to our BME graduate education program typically have:
A bachelor or masters of science in engineering, natural sciences, or mathematical sciences
Mathematical background including calculus through differential equations and a science and engineering background including a combined total of three years of physical, chemical, and engineering sciences
Grades averaging higher than a B in undergraduate courses and a B+ or higher in previous graduate-level courses
Class ranking in the top 20 percent
For students whose first language is not English, a minimum TOEFL score of 100 is required for unconditional admission
The GRE is NOT required

Applicants who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents who meet any of the following criteria qualify for a full application fee waiver:
Applicants experiencing financial hardship
Applicants who identify as a member of an underrepresented minority population
Applicants who served in a branch of the United States Military
