Scheduling Rules / Expectations

Please schedule your lab usage in advance using the Google Calendar. Minimum reservation lead time (e.g., 24 hours unless emergency)

This schedule helps the BSL-3 RA coordinate equipment access, plan lab closures, and schedule maintenance/service.

If your work may generate continuous equipment use or long incubations that may impact other users, please note this in description
Cancel/adjust reservations as soon as plans change
Notify BSL-3 RA if working after hours (and ensure after-hours safety form is submitted, if required)

When reserving time, please include:

Your name / lab
Equipment required
If you will use any equipment located inside a biosafety cabinet (hood), please list it clearly in the event title.

Example reservation title:

Smith Lab - BSC with spectrophotometer

Rachel - Sorter

*Do not assume availability based on the calendar alone. Scheduling conflicts or biosafety considerations may require schedule adjustments.
