Materials Needed:
Lesson Books- Essential Elements for Strings: 4th, 5th, 6th grade book 1; 7th and 8th grade book 2
Orchestra folder with music- I will give you one at school
Pencil to mark music- keep it in your folder you will need it each class!
Instrument and bow-(cellos/basses may use school instruments where available. )
Rosin- cellos and basses must carry rosin back and forth to school or buy two rosins, violins and violas carry in your case
Violins and violas only- Hard plastic/metal shoulder rest - see above (not a cushion or sponge)
Cello and bass only- Rock stop- you must carry it back and forth to school or get two
Soft cloth to wipe down your instrument
