Welcome to the Orchestra 2025-2026

Hello and welcome to Mrs. McGrogan's Orchestra class site. I am excited to get to know all of you and make great music together.

After our first class please:

1. Familiarize yourself with our Google Site. Look through all the content tabs along the left side and top

2. Read over McGrogan's MS Orchestra Handbook in the Course Description that includes our course syllabus, materials needed, rubric on how you will be graded. We will go over anything you don't understand in our next lesson and I will give you a paper copy to get signed and returned

The orchestra isn't just a class, or even a team, we are a family, and that starts with getting to know each other and accept everyone for who they are. When we are at school everyday this is usually easy because for some of you I spend more time with you and you spend more time with each other than you do with your parents. We will need to lean on each other to keep our family connected. My expectation is for all of you to participate in class with your instrument voice and attention.
