Professional learning opportunities for school districts and educators
Professional learning opportunities for school districts and educators
For 72 years, CASDA has been providing professional learning opportunities for school districts and educators. Created by local educational leaders, CASDA utilizes a combination of research and expertise from the field to develop and apply solutions to challenges faced by member districts. The American Rescue Plan will provide much needed financial support to school districts. The funds can be used in two ways, 20% to address learning loss to reach the most disadvantaged and disproportionately impacted students. The majority of the funds, or 80%, can be used for any authorized activity in current education law including for Title II activities as outlined in the Every Student Succeeds Act.
Will your district need assistance in determining how best to allocate these funds? CASDA is prepared to work with school district teams to assist in the process of reimagining education for Fall 2021 and beyond. Utilizing a Problem of Practice (P.O.P.) Collaborative approach, teams from area school districts will work individually and together in developing solutions to challenges they face in reimagining education in their school districts. CASDA’s Seminar facilitators will share research and harness the power of experience from the field to assist each district team in leaving with an actionable plan.
