Leadership Coaching
Customized to meet the individual needs of school leaders
Customized to meet the individual needs of school leaders
CASDA's coaching services are customized to meet the needs of school leaders. We believe that leadership coaching is a valuable form of embedded professional development. Experienced and trained CASDA coaches with proven leadership skills will support new or veteran administrators. Our coaches meet one-on-one to confidentially discuss the challenges of leadership and determine effective strategies. Through reflection, analysis, and honest discussions, school leaders come to better understand the demands to administration and grow into reliable stewards of their communities.
Leadership coaching can support school leaders to:
Focus on school improvement and innovation.
Develop efficient time management strategies.
Set priorities focused on student achievement.
Cultivate a professional learning culture.
Collaborate with building management teams.
Delegate responsibilities.
Deal more effectively with difficult people.
Facilitate successful meetings.
Provide walkthroughs or meaningful evaluations.
Communicate with parents and the school community.
Coaching sessions are arranged one or two times per month before, during and/or after the school day. Additional support is provided throughout the year via email or phone conferences. Services are designed to support and enhance the skills of teacher leaders, curriculum supervisors, directors of special education, assistant principals, principals, school business administrators, assistant
superintendents or superintendents.
