"Remain in Me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me. 'I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; a part from Me you can do nothing"
(John 15: 4-5).

August Spiritual Formation Talking Points:
We read “What Will My Story Be?” by Nidhi Chanani. We all have a God given purpose to fulfill here on earth for the Kingdom. “In my quiet, it begins…”
Psalm 111:1; Learning to have daily Prayers of Thanksgiving and a basic form of journaling.
God is our Creator and He created the world from nothing. God created everyone to be like Him and to have a relationship with Him. “For everything created by God is good” (1 Timothy 4:4).
Psalm 100; We can start our prayers with Adoration which means we tell God how much we love Him and/or You’re (God is) awesome because…
Confession is an important part of our relationship with God and others! (Ask about our Forgiveness Science Experiment!!) 1. We listen to the Spirit. “God, see what is in my heart. Know what is there. Test me. Know what I’m thinking. See if there’s anything in my life you don’t like. Help me to live in the way that is always right” (Psalm 139:23-24). 2. Say Sorry- It was wrong of me to___________(Acts 3:19-20). 3. Ask for Forgiveness (Psalm 103:12). 4. Make it Right- We want to focus on helping (restoring) instead of hurting. 5. Go & GROW! John 8 says, “Go and sin no more!” We go share the love of Jesus and grow in our obedience to God!

"For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and to those who are perishing" (New International Version, 2 Corinthians 2:15)
My name is Miss Wendy Wagoner. It is my first year at CAI and it is my joy to lead Spiritual Formation and Chapel for K-5th grade. I grew up in the Hoosier Heartland of Indiana with a call to teach kids about Jesus since I was ten years old. I have a BS in Christian Education, a Masters Degree in Education and Early Childhood Education. My dog Milo and I lived in Tanzania, East Africa. I was on the field as a missionary for eleven years working with a Foundation to improve education within East Africa and to spread the gospel within the dusty land. K-2nd grade students will have me for spiritual formation once a week and 3rd-5th grade once a month along with chapel weekly. We will explore Spiritual Disciplines along with ways to make head and heart connections daily with God. After school you can find me in the gym coaching high school volleyball here at CAI. I look forward to partnering with our families on this great adventure of raising a generation who "Praises the Lord!"
