Hello!

This week I would like us to begin thinking about what we would like to further explore related to peace and conflict. Last week you answered some questions to develop a better understanding of peace and conflict; this week, I would like you to begin to identify the questions and areas you want to know more about. Through the document "Step 1-Genius Project" you will be able to better identify the information you want to know more about, the information you already know, and the information you need to find.

Period 1, Week 2

This week we will begin Global Citizenship by taking a deeper look at peace and conflict. This period, the theme of our "Genius Projects" will be peace and conflict; you will be able to create a research based project on a subtopic of your interest around the greater theme of peace and conflict. For example, you could look at the role of peace and conflict in the creation of the videogame Minecraft, or you could also research an individual country and examine how peace or conflict has effected the country - it is all up to YOU!
