Hi, my name is Zakaria Anbaouy and I am from Mohammedia Morocco. I recently joined CAS as the new facilities manager and I am very excited to join the team! I have a Master's degree in engineering and industrial management as well as a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University Hassan 1st. For the last seven years I worked in maintenance for different types of industries (transport, waste management, health). Prior to joining CAS, I was working at Clinvet SA, a veterinary CRO as a site, maintenance and security manager. As a facilities manager at CAS, I will be responsible for the security, maintenance and services in an effort to ensure that they meet the school's needs, its staff and students. During my free time I enjoy doing fitness, manga/anime and hiking. My word of wisdom is inspired from Stephen Covey's quote : "I am not a product of my circumstances. I am a product of my decisions".

Hi, my name is Julie Gingell! I'm originally from Cleveland, Ohio. I attended Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, and Columbia University’s Teacher College in New York City. I have taught Kindergarten in international schools for the past four years. I will be moving to Casablanca from Hong Kong, and I could not be more excited! Morocco will be the 30th country I have visited (a milestone that Covid kept me from reaching in 2020). I'm most looking forward to travel opportunities in Morocco and Africa. I am really excited to immerse myself in Moroccan culture and try Moroccan food. I'm very happy to be joining the CAS team to work within a strong community of teachers at an American-style school. I am also thrilled to be teaching third grade, as I'm trained in the primary years and have missed teaching older students!

Hi everyone! My name is Jillian Bruton and I am so excited to be joining the team at CAS. I grew up in New York with my parents and three younger sisters. I attended state colleges for both my undergrad and masters programs (SUNY Geneseo and SUNY Brockport). After getting married, I moved to Charleston, SC and began teaching in an island school with a unique culture of its own. I have taught fourth and third grades. In my free time I love to read and watch cooking elimination shows. I am excited for this opportunity to be pushed outside of my comfort zone both professionally and personally.

Hello! My name is Stefanie Osbourn. I grew up in a small town in west Texas, but currently reside in Tyler, Texas, also known as the Rose Capital of America. In 2010, I received a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Family Studies, from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, and I'm now pursuing a Master of Arts in English. I'm currently working through my tenth year as an elementary teacher- seven years in 1st grade, one year in 4th, and now my second year with 3rd graders.
Through my experience I have learned the importance of building strong, positive relationships with students and coworkers.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy traveling, hiking, reading, writing, and spending time with my favorite people. My family calls me the "adventurous one." I’m not sure if that is an accurate description, but I look forward to finding out.
I am beyond excited that I have been given the opportunity to come to Morocco and join the team at Casablanca American School. Morocco, in general, seems to be a beautiful country, with diverse and welcoming people. I know I will enjoy discovering its many treasures. Furthermore, my virtual investigation has yielded only positive and encouraging thoughts about CAS. The culture of the school seems to be both happy and healthy. I am eager to partner with these staff members and students!

I entered the mortal realm on the southern shores of the great Lake Ontario on May 5, 1985. I was, by all accounts, a strong and lusty lad and remains so to this day. The middle of three children, I grew up in Rochester, New York as a son, brother, cousin, nephew, and uncle to a close and loving family.
Educated by the State University of New York, I taught US History, Economics, and Law. Before that, I sharpened skills and learned life lessons as a truck driver, carpenter, waiter, librarian, rock-climbing instructor, traveler, husband, and teacher.
Generous and kind people introduced me to his keenest personal passions: surfing and writing. I enjoy nothing more than practicing these skills and encouraging my students to seek out and pursue their own highest calling.
I walked many paths on my way to Morocco and the Casablanca American School, and the journey is not yet over! I look forward to exploring the wonders and mysteries of Morocco, making new friends, and guiding students through the fascinating world of history.
