I went to undergraduate school at Carnegie Mellon University and I am attending Columbia University's Nursing school for a Masters in nursing and a doctorate in midwifery later this year.
2. What degrees/ certificates do you hold? I hold a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Visual Arts and a Bachelors of Science in Biology. I also am working on my doula certification from Mama Glow, a doula training organization in Brooklyn, NY.
3. Where did you work prior moving to CAS (teaching position/ or other position, country)? I worked at Tufts University in Boston, United States as a lab technician doing Alzheimer's disease research.
4. How many years have you been teaching? I taught undergrads lab techniques for two years, but this is my first year doing any teaching to an entire class of students. I love it!
5. In your “own time”…. Hobbies, interests…? In my own time I am a painter and run a small Etsy shop as a doll customizer. I am also working on my doula training and taking my first semester of nursing school classes online.
