Kathy Ah Wong serves as the Director of Clinical Services at CAS and brings a wealth of experience in behavioral health and counseling services to the role. She earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Edinboro University. Since obtaining her professional license in 2013, she has been dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and the counseling profession, including providing supervision for counselors working toward licensure.
Throughout her career, Kathy has served in a variety of clinical and leadership roles across Crawford County. Prior to joining CAS as Director of Clinical Services, she worked as the Clinical Manager of a school-based behavioral health program, where she developed extensive experience collaborating with schools, families, and community partners to support youth and their mental health needs.
Committed to ongoing professional growth, Kathy recently completed certification in Eco-Systemic Family Therapy (ESFT), an evidence-based family systems therapy model. At this time, referrals for ESFT services are made through the school system. While much of her current role focuses on completing clinical evaluations, she maintains a limited therapy caseload.
In her therapeutic work, Kathy takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach, incorporating solution-focused techniques to help clients identify meaningful goals and build on their existing resources. She is also open to exploring concerns through the lens of the Enneagram as a tool for increasing self-awareness and understanding, recognizing that not every symptom or struggle reflects pathology and that each person's experiences deserve thoughtful, individualized care.
Outside of work, Kathy enjoys spending time in her garden and supporting her children in their many activities. She values the importance of family, community, and personal growth, and strives to bring those same values into her professional relationships and clinical practice.

Therapy can feel intimidating, and Michelle believes good therapy starts with creating a space where clients feel safe enough to be themselves. Her approach is warm, genuine, and practical. While therapy often involves difficult conversations and emotions, she believes it doesn’t have to feel cold, overly formal, or full of clinical jargon. Sometimes healing begins with an honest conversation, a little humor, or simply feeling comfortable enough to let your guard down.
Before joining CAS, Michelle worked in Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) as both a Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) and Behavioral Consultant (BSC), working closely with children, families, and schools. These experiences continue to shape her approach to therapy.
Michelle works with children ages 7+, teens, and adults, meeting clients where they are and providing practical tools for growth. She is also certified in Eco-Systemic Family Therapy (ESFT), an evidence-based family systems approach. Currently, ESFT referrals are made through the school system.
Michelle believes finding the right therapist matters. She encourages clients to give therapy a few sessions, and if the fit isn’t right, she is happy to help them find a therapist who may be a better match.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, being outdoors, and photographing interesting mushrooms she discovers along the way.
Michelle offers in-person appointments at CAS’s Meadville location.

Psychologist
In my 30-year professional career, first as an attorney and then as a psychologist, I’ve had the opportunity to help a wide variety of individuals solve a wide range of problems. I come to Counseling and Assessment Services with a real-world perspective as to the challenges of life and how they directly affect a person’s mental wellbeing.
I received a Juris Doctorate from Duquesne School of Law and a Masters and Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Gannon University. Prior to working at Counseling and Assessment Services, I was a private practice owner in Charlotte, North Carolina, offering therapy and psychological evaluation services for the past 17 years.
I’m most passionate about helping individuals, especially teens and adults, navigate and heal from the effects of trauma. My approach is directive, solution-oriented, and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based theoretical orientations such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Therapy (DBT) to help you reach your goals for success. Moreover, I will hold you accountable along the way, which can be challenging to do alone. I offer a high level of focus and flexibility to my clients. We’ll work together to identify the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are making you feel stuck and practice new ways of responding to stressful events. You can expect a session that feels structured yet fluid. I offer virtual sessions for accessibility and flexibility. Reaching out can feel like the hardest step but it’s also the first step toward feeling better. If you’re ready, I would be honored to support you.
When I’m not working, my life revolves around my twin sons, Max and Mason, who are the loves of my life. To keep me sane and grounded, I enjoy working out at the gym, taking yoga classes, and walking our golden retriever, Biscuit.

Sean Perhacs, LPC is a therapist who works primarily with children, teenagers, and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma related symptoms, and other barriers to being able to live their life to the fullest.
I utilize a client-centered and strengths-based approach to therapy. My belief is that individuals already possess the tools necessary to navigate negative emotions and overcome difficult circumstances that life throws their way. My goal is to guide and work together with the client to allow them to recognize areas of strength that they can rely on to continue to grow and improve in areas that they have identified. My approach is solutions-focused and utilized techniques from CBT to improve overall mental health of the client. Each client is unique and has his or her own story. As a result, the approach and treatment are tailored to the client as an individual with their own needs.
We will work together identify habits and patterns that may lead to negative thoughts as well as strengths and areas where improvement is needed. We will also work on regulating emotions reducing distractions in order to best focus on what is best for you.
