The main objective of this module is to educate the students about the basic concept and principles of swine production. This module covers the basis of what swine production is all about including its history, economic industry status, swine terminology, challenges and problems face by the pig grower and you will also know the different stages of production system. This study highlights the different stages of the production system and growth performance which tackles the present situation in the swine industry.

This online module is the introductory course of Swine Production as part of the topic in the Agriculture and Fishery Arts course of Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education second year, first semester.
