Mr. Mason taught high school shop from '87-95 before pursuing a career in mechanical engineering at the Androscoggin Paper Mill in Jay, Maine. In 2018 he was convinced by some enthusiastic CHS alumni to dust off his teaching skills and join the Carrabec team.

His most fervent passion is helping others build stuff, "It doesn't matter what it is, I just like to make things." When not in the school shop he can be found hunting, fishing or working in one of his orchards.
