Your ID is a form of identification for anything you may need. However in school, we use these cards for 3 main things: getting out a library book, it's like a library card! To use the printer and to sign into school if you are late at the front office. When signing in late, you scan your ID card and they give you a late pass for you to give to your teacher.
If you lose anything such a your timetable, ID card, locket key, etc, reach out for help and ask your CLG teacher, your atawhai teacher, or the office staff.
In the morning, after interval, and after lunch you may hear 2 bells go a few minutes after one another. The first bell of the 2 is a warning bell and is followed 5 minutes later by the bell that marks the start of class. Therefor when you hear the warning bell it si your sign to start packing up your items and food and go to class. You have 5 minutes then to be ready in your class to start learning.
There are many different classroom numbers and codes found around the school, however, each different type of code hints to a certain part of the school. Codes with an 'H" are found in the Atrium area (by the theatre); and 'H' code with the first number as a o = bottom level, 1 = middle (same level as theatre), and 2 = upstairs. The classroom code "MJ" indicates where Maths and Sciences are found (by hall). The Code 'R' refers to all classes in the Gym. The code 'C' indicated all the classes found in the main stretch of the school from the tech rooms to above the tuckshop. Finally, classroom codes that are just numbers, are found in the Year 7, R.E or Art block.
