Respect any teacher that is in the classroom. This includes Mr. Istik, any co-teachers, any substitute teachers or any teachers that pop in for a quick visit or chat.
Respect peers. This may be the most important rule of them all.
Respect Classroom & Materials
Participate (okay maybe this isn't a "rule" but more of a "guideline" of how to be successful.
What can a student do with his or her cell phone?
1. Park It – in the calculator parking lot
2. Pocket – In your pocket, or purse, off & out of sight.
3. Lock It – In Your Locker
4. USE IT?! – Only for class purposes & only when allowed by the teacher.

Can’t Follow Rules?Consequences are:

*NOTE: Severe rule breaking will result in an immediate referral to the office.

Grading Policy

Grading Scale:

A – 100% - 90%

B – 89% - 80%

C – 79% - 70%

D – 69% - 60%

F – 59% and below

Weight:

Grades are weighted averages using the following scale:

Class Work – 20%

Homework – 10%

Tests/Quizzes/Projects – 70%

NOTE: Late work is accepted, with the understanding that a penalty will likely be assessed, unless prior arrangements were made with the teacher.
