Student Created Projects
Stop Motion Video
This project was created by Preston Kemmler. The original video is 47 seconds long with 3 pictures per second. Preston used 97 photos to tell the story of a man hitting a ball out of a pitching machine, with a crowd. There is some chicanery during the film and at the end a winning homerun with a flip!
This is the first time that our second graders have taken to being producers and trying a stop motion video.Â
The Magno-Snatcher
2nd grader Eva Zober created an invention that would help people get their silverware back from a garbage disposal unit without having to stick their hand in. Eva's invention uses magnets, an LED light, and spring like action to be able to grab any sort of fork, spoon, spork, or any other type of utensil safely out of the garbage disposal unit.
Carlynton Zoo & Aquarium
Classmates Harshitha Uday and Claire Rathman are putting together a website of their favorite animals that they saw during the Wild Investigations Competition. They are creating their own QR code as well that will be posted in all of Carlynton's Buildings for everyone to view.
