Social Studies

EXPLORATION - that is the simple, yet multi-faceted theme of our Social Studies classroom this year. In addition to lessons on US Geography and US Government, we will investigate Exploration historically from the First Americans over 10,000 years ago, to the Age of Discovery and European arrival into the new America, up through pre-American Revolution Colonial America. Students will also experience a special Winter Olympics Unit this school year. We will also study Space Exploration from the Space Race to today and beyond in a mash up of STEM and Social Studies.
