Carlsbad Seaside Academy is home of the Seahawks. It is an Independent Study program within the Carlsbad Unified School District located in Carlsbad, CA, a city that features a high technology industry, light manufacturing, tourism, agriculture, and a diverse offering of service-oriented businesses. Carlsbad Seaside Academy is accredited by the Western Association of School and Colleges (WASC). In shared partnership with parents and students the staff at Carlsbad Seaside Academy envision an alternative learning environment that promotes high academic achievement, personal and social responsibility and empowers students to meet the challenges of a changing world.
