Mrs. Williams joined Sage Creek High School in 2021, bringing with her over 15 years of experience as a visual arts teacher. Her earlier positions of employment as a secondary teacher include public and private high schools in several other counties and states, helping build a diverse understanding of art education.
She has also held adjunct professor of art positions at several colleges including the University of Arizona, Westmont College, and Platt College. She has teaching experience in museum education as well, working with the Center for Creative Photography and the Department of the Interior Museum. She earned a Master of Arts in Art Education from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor’s from Northern Arizona University where she studied Interior Design and Photography.
In addition to teaching, Mrs. Williams owns and operates a portrait photography studio and has received accolades for her work from The Portrait Masters Awards. She enjoys capturing the true essence of a person and showcasing their beauty. When not teaching or creating portraits for clients, she prefers photographing nature.
