I missed the deadline. Can I still apply?
All deadlines are final. NHS applications are only open once a year, so it is essential that you pay attention to all application announcements and deadlines. If you miss the application deadline, there is no way to go back and apply.
I didn't recertify my membership during the returning member application window. What does that mean and what can I do?
Remember, you must reactivate your membership every year. If you do not recertify your membership during the designated window, you will revoke your membership and you will be automatically dropped from our membership list.
I was a member of NHS at my previous school. Can I transfer my membership?
Yes! You are able to transfer your NHS membership from a previous school. Please contact Ms. Giertych to initiate the transfer process.
How do I list NHS on my college applications?
National Honor Society (NHS) should be listed under co-curricular activities. List each individual school year in which you maintained membership. You can check your membership status here.
