Errors in membership information must be reported to Ms. Giertych within one week of the close of the application deadline.
Frequently Asked Questions
I missed the deadline. Can I still apply?
All deadlines are final. If you miss the application deadline, there is no way to go back and reopen. Pay close attention to your email for announcements about the application and important deadlines -- and, most importantly, try again when applications open next semester!
It says that I do not have access to the application. Can you share it with me?
The application is only open to those who are logged into a Carlsbad Unified email account. If you are not logged into your CUSD account, you will not be able to open the application.
I didn't apply last year, but I still had the grades to qualify. Can I still add those semesters?
You are not able to retroactively add semesters. Again, pay close attention to your email for announcements about upcoming application cycles.
I was a member of CSF at my previous school. Can I transfer my progress?
Yes! You are able to transfer any CSF progress that was made at a previous school that also maintains a CSF chapter. Please contact Ms. Giertych to initiate the transfer process. However, please note that this is only available to students who are transferring from another school's active CSF chapter. If your previous school did not have a CSF chapter, then there is no transfer option.
I went to another school last semester. Can I still apply?
CSF applications are only based on CHS report cards. The only way to apply using a previous school's report card is to initiate the transfer process above (i.e. previous school has an active CSF chapter).
How do I list CSF on my college applications?
California Scholarship Federation (CSF) should be listed under co-curricular activities. List each individual semester in which you achieved membership. You can check your membership semesters here.
