Chamber Orchestra Auditions 2026

The Carlsbad High School Chamber Orchestra is the program's advanced string ensemble, designed for students with more significant playing experience. Membership is audition-based, requiring a strong commitment, for violin, viola, cello, double bass, harp, and piano. This ensemble focuses on developing advanced individual and collaborative skills by studying a challenging repertoire that includes both classical and modern compositions. Students in the Chamber Orchestra perform at various school and community events, like concerts and competitive festivals, representing the high level of musical excellence at CHS.

Auditions for Chamber Orchestra membership for the 2026/2027 school year will take place in April 2026. Audition information and required material can be found below.
