OCTOBER 2025 - The combined orchestras of Carlsbad High School and Sage Creek High School recently presented their "Marigolds and Moonlight" concert. The evening was defined by high-caliber orchestral music and a groundbreaking debut by the newly formed CUSD Mariachi Club. The Mariachi Club's vibrant performance was a massive hit, culminating in a dynamic collaboration that seamlessly wove traditional string orchestra with the rich, lively sound of mariachi. The concert was a resounding success, celebrating musical excellence and cultural diversity within the Carlsbad Unified School District.
