WHY JOIN THE PTA?

Becoming a PTA member is a simple and impactful way to support Buena Vista. Your membership strengthens our school community and helps support programs and enrichment opportunities that benefit our students and staff.

Each membership also supports PTA advocacy efforts at the local, state, and national levels, helping to improve education for all children.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Membership dues are $15.00. A portion of these dues supports PTA at additional levels (CUC $0.35, 9th District $1, CA State PTA $2, and National PTA $3.25), while $8.40 stays with BV PTA.

In addition to membership dues, we ask families to consider an additional donation of $185 per student. Together, that equals $200 per student and helps us reach our $100,000 fundraising goal. These funds directly support PE, STEAM, assemblies, field trips, staff appreciation, and enrichment opportunities for every student.

IS VOLUNTEERING REQUIRED?

No! Volunteering is not required. By becoming a member, you're already making a difference. Membership gives you a voice, voting rights, and the option to get involved as much or as little as you'd like.
