WHY JOIN THE PTA?

• Becoming a PTA member is a simple and impactful way to support your child's education.
  Your membership helps fund important programs like PE, art, STEAM, and other enrichment activities that benefit all students and teachers at Buena Vista Elementary.

• Each membership also supports advocacy efforts at the local, state, and national levels, helping to improve education for all children.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Membership dues are $15.00. A portion of these dues goes to support PTA at additional levels (CUC $0.35, 9th District $1, CA State PTA $2 and National PTA $3.25) but $8.40 stays with BV PTA.

In addition to membership dues, we are asking famlies to consider an additional donation of $185 per student. Together that equals $200 per student, which helps us reach our fundraising goal of $80,785. These funds directly support PE, STEAM, assemblies, field trips, staff apprecitiaon, and enrichment opportunities for every student. 

Is Volunteering required?

No, volunteering is not required. By becoming a member, you're already making a difference! Membership gives you a voice, voting rights, and the option to get involved as much- or as little -as you'd like.
