Base Layer Guide
To ensure our students feel comfortable and our costumes stay stage-ready, all cast members are required to wear a base layer under their costumes.
Please have your student’s base layer ready to go by March 9th. Our first full dress rehearsal is March 16th.
Privacy & Comfort: In a small and busy backstage environment with quick changes, a base layer allows students to change modestly and comfortably in shared spaces.
Costume Care: Costumes will stay at school during the dress reheasals and three final performances. Base layers can go home with the student to be laundered, keeping the costumes fresh for every performance!
Confidence: It helps students feel secure and focused on their performance under the bright stage lights.

Check Your Inbox: The costume committee has sent you an email regarding your student's specific requirements. If you don't see it the email, please check your junk folder.
Only need to purchase 1 per item: You’ll notice some items are repeated across different scenes. You do not need to buy multiples—we’ve intentionally designed the costumes so that one item (like white tees or purple Chucks) can be used for several looks.
Fittings for costumes provided by the costume committee: We have two fittings scheduled before February break. We will email you directly if your child is needed for a fitting.
Now: Students should begin wearing their performance shoes to all rehearsals.
March 2nd: All parent-provided costume items due (Bagged & Labeled).
March 9th: Base layers must be in hand.
