Bio

My name is Lindy Eckles and I am the Secondary School Counselor at Carlisle ISD. 

Before I became the Secondary Counselor, I was a violin and guitar instructor, 4th/5th grade science teacher, and an Elementary School Counselor. I have a Master's Degree in School Counseling and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Tyler. 

When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids, playing the violin, and traveling to new places. It is an honor to have the opportunity to work with the students, families, and staff at Carlisle ISD.  Go Indians!

My name is Brian Potter and I am the Elementary School Counselor at Carlisle ISD.

I love working in education and have nearly 20 years of experience in many different roles: from paraprofessional, to teacher, to counselor, and more.  I have also worked outside of the field of education in the areas of mental health, leadership, ministry, and service.  I believe this experience enriches and informs my role as a professional school counselor here at Carlisle.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Howard Payne University and a Master’s of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two girls, traveling, playing music, photography, and gardening.  I have worked in many places, but none like Carlisle!  It’s truly an honor and a blessing to be serving in such an amazing place.
