A completer is a student who has earned all of the required units in a program of study. At CHS, there are two types of completers: CTE completers and Local Completers. All Completers graduate with a high school diploma, are presented with a certificate, and are recognized during the commencement ceremony with completer cords.
The chart below outlines the CTE programs offered at CHS. The courses must be taken in the outlined order.
CHS offers the following local programs. In order to complete, the courses must be taken in grades 9-12.
Foreign Language: Complete two levels of the same language
Band: Participate in Band for at least three years.
Choir: Participate in Choir for at least three years.
Art: Take all the on-site visual arts offered at CHS: Art I, Art II, Art 2D, and Art 3D.
Journalism: Take Journalism for at least 3 years.
