Grants: A grant is a form of financial aid that does not have to paid repaid unless you do not complete the requirements of the program. Federal grants include Pell Grants, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG, Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education Grants (TEACH), etc.
Scholarships: Money given by individuals or organizations to help students pay for their postsecondary studies. This money does not have to be repaid. Scholarships may be based on personal or academic merit, talent, or a particular area of study.
Work-Study Jobs: The Work-Study program allows students with financial need to earn money to pay for school by working part-time.
Loans: Loans are borrowed money to attend a postsecondary institution. Loans and the interest they accrue must be paid.
