Chris is recognized as one of the top Cybersecurity professionals in the private and public spaces, Chris’s journey began as a math and computer science tutor in school.  Chris began to help others and found that he had a gift of helping those who thought they could not learn something, not only learn but succeed. His teaching style would help people realize that they could learn subjects they never thought possible.  Chris's favorite part of tutoring was seeing people learn and seeing their confidence grow.

Chris won the Pennsylvania Governor’s Award for Technical Achievement and was also selected as a leader for his achievements in helping students by the deans of his college. During his career, Chris was a lead consultant and held multiple titles such as Senior and Principal Network and Cybersecurity lead where he was considered a world-class expert and consulted with multiple Fortune 500 companies. Throughout his career, Chris has shared his knowledge to train and help those he worked with.  Chris's passion for helping others to succeed has always been a part of his career, which is why he founded Career Up, LLC.  Chris's motivation is seeing his students launch their careers and achieve success within their fields.

Chris moved into the Federal space where he began a 17-year career as a Senior Security Information Security Analyst with the U.S. House of Representatives.  He went on to become the overall Cybersecurity Engineering lead and Subject Matter Expert, where he would work with C-level executives to implement highly complex solutions to protect critical assets. Chris’s position was one of the highest technical positions within the U.S. House of Representatives and he was directly responsible for projects costing over 100 million dollars.

In 2019, Chris left the U.S. House of Representatives and founded CareerUP LLC, to apply his experience to help people like YOU begin their SOC Analyst careers. In addition, Chris consults with companies to help them solve some of their most challenging Cybersecurity problems.
