Hello! My name is Seth Coombe and I have been teaching for 20 years. I started as a special education teacher and did that for 8 years before moving to kindergarten for the last 12 years here at the small rural school of Cardwell School in Montana. I am the Supervising Teacher at the school, and the last six years I have also been teaching Early Literacy (formerly Running Start).
I have been married to my amazing husband Michael Coombe for 23 years. He has taught at Cardwell School for the last 11 years. We have 4 amazing children (3 boys and our youngest is a girl) and two grandsons. We also have two dogs a Mini-Aussie and a Borgie.
I love the outdoors and am so blessed to live in such a beautiful state. I also absolutely love to read, there is nothing like getting lost in a good book after a long day!
I love children and love to learn so I think that is why I became an educator. Children look at the work through fresh and innocent eyes. They see all the little things that we sometimes take for granted and I feel through teaching my eyes have been opened to the wonder that is our world. Each child that enters my room is an individual and I value them for who they are.
In 2025 I was honored with the title of Montana Rural Teacher of the Year.
Thank you for sharing your children with me! Let’s have a great year! 💙GO COUGARS!💛 😊
