All Volunteer opportunities (that we could anticipate) are listed on the main page.
There are numerous volunteer opportunities available and approximately 120 students in the band. Volunteers needed vary per event. We need concession stand workers, 50/50 ticket sellers, merchandise sellers, field help, etc.
If every student has at least one adult volunteer this year we will be able to continue to successfully support the program! This does not need to be a parent. We will also take grandparents, aunts, uncles or your cousin from Boston. And you will not be turned down if you choose to volunteer more than once!
One completed volunteer opportunity fulfills $25 of the student deductible (Can only be used for ONE $25 credit).
Please be sure to see a chairperson/lead to get marked off the list at the event for which you are volunteering. We want to make sure you get credit for volunteering!
If signing up to chaperone, please understand you may not be on the same bus as your child. You do stand a better chance of being on the same bus if you sign up as a permanent chaperone for the year. We like to have 2 on each bus. You need to arrive at least 20 minutes before departure time to get everyone checked onto the bus. You also help at the halftime show and check everyone in for the ride home. Any questions, please see Christa Hartman-Rada.
