Word Vault is a resource for speech practice. The free version is somewhat limited but I still feel it has merit. The app is easy to navigate. There are many areas of focus including Articulation, Language, Phonology, and Social.
Articulation: There are many wordlists arranged by sound. The app allows you to practice sounds in all positions of single words, blends, sentences, and includes conversation starters to monitor your child’s sound while they’re speaking.
Phonology: Breaks words down even further. Lots of final blends. Minimal Pairs is fantastic. It contrasts your child’s error with the correct sound in words. Check it out!
Language: There are too many topic areas to list here! It is an amazing (and somewhat overwhelming) collection. If your child has language goals in their IEP, you will find activities that match those goals here. If you have questions regarding where to focus based on your child’s needs, do not hesitate to contact me. I’d be happy to help.
Social: This has some great activities in the area of Emotions, Inferencing, Jokes, Problem Solving, and Idioms.
The following link takes you to informational handouts on a variety of speech topics. You can click the link and go directly to this site or view and navigate from the page below. Simply click the "English" tab next to the article you'd like to view. You will need to create an account and password which is free. I have found these short articles very helpful and frequently use them as parent resources. https://www.superduperinc.com/Handouts/Handout.aspx
