Xingliang Yuan is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Software Systems and Cybersecurity in the Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University, Australia. He is the program director for Master of Cybersecurity at Monash. His research interests are in the areas of machine learning security and privacy, secure networked system, confidential computing, and data security and privacy. His research has been supported by Australian Research Council, CSIRO Data61, and Oceania Cyber Security Centre. In the past few years, his work has appeared in prestigious venues in cybersecurity, computer networks, and distributed systems, such as ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security (CCS) and the Network and Distributed System Security Symposium (NDSS). He is the sole recipient of the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Research by an Early Career Researcher in 2020 and the recipient of the Faculty Teaching Excellence Award (citation for outstanding contribution to student learning) in 2021.

Zhifeng Bao received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from National University of Singapore. He is a Professor of the School of Computing Technologies in RMIT University and an Honorary Senior Fellow in The University of Melbourne. His research interests include data management and data mining. He serves as an Associate Editor of PVLDB and ACM Transactions on Spatial Algorithm and Systems. He was a recipient of the Chris Wallace Award for Outstanding Research and Google Faculty Research Awards. Currently, he co-directs the RMIT Research Centre for Information Discovery and Data Analytics.
