CUSD Teacher Induction for Private/Charter Schools Overview 

Capistrano Unified School District offers an Induction program for private school teachers who possess a preliminary California teaching credential. Please email our office directly regarding enrollment in Induction as a private school teacher. Additionally, there are many virtual programs to support you in meeting the Induction renewal requirement on your credential. Orange County Department of Education is an example of an accredited program that has the infrastructure to support candidates from a variety of settings. Their website can be located HERE. It is recommended that you obtain information about other CTC accredited programs for Teacher Induction to compare and contrast requirements and benefits of each program.
