Directions:
After reading about each composer on the Music History webpage, select one composer to research further. Create an online poster that innovatively displays the following information about the composer:
The composer's birth and death dates
The composer's city and country of origin
5-7 interesting facts about the composer. You may want to ask yourself:
o Was there anything special about the composer’s childhood?
o What are the composer’s contributions to the music world?
o What instruments did the composer play? Did he have a primary instrument?
o Did the composer endure any hardships during his lifetime?
o What pieces is the composer known for?
Select 2 pieces the composer is well known for and share 2-3 facts about each piece, including one fact that focuses on a musical aspect of the piece (for example, this piece includes an unusual key signature, or this sonata is made up of four movements instead of the typical three).
Make sure to reference your source of information by including somewhere on your poster the website(s) you gathered your information from.
