COURSE GOALS
Intrinsically motivate students to practice through the use of relevant technological tools
Incorporate technological platforms that will allow students to engage, collaborate, and communicate online
Incorporate educational technology to help students with development of musicianship skills
Incorporate ways for students to creatively display their knowledge through technological designs
STUDENT LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Students will demonstrate their knowledge of a composer and his or her's most impactful pieces through the creation of an online poster.
Students will demonstrate their knowledge of at least four non-westernized instruments through the creation of an online poster.
Students will demonstrate their knowledge of musical notation, rhythm, clefs, and instrument notation through the composition of a short musical piece.
Students will be assessed on their knowledge of a variety of musical composers, compositions, and non-westernized instruments with 85% efficiency through the use of a Google Form Exam.
