Privacy Statement
Privacy Statement
miniMoti (Minimal Motivation) Tracker is designed with privacy in mind. This policy describes how the app handles your data.
All your data is stored locally on your device only. This includes:
- Virtue tracking and infraction history
- Food diary entries
- Ailment/symptom logs
- Mood logs
- Custom virtue systems and settings
- Your name and preferences
No data is automatically uploaded to any server.
Your information never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it.
To improve app stability, miniMoti can use Firebase Crashlytics. When enabled, if the app crashes, anonymized crash reports (such as device type, app version, and stack traces) may be sent to Google's Firebase service. These reports help us fix bugs and do not contain your personal tracking data, food logs, or mood entries.
You can turn crash reporting on or off in Settings (and during onboarding). When it is off, the app does not send new crash reports to Firebase.
- USDA FoodData Central: Food composition data is loaded from a public dataset. Searching and logging food does not send your data to USDA.
- Mayo Clinic: Symptom descriptions are adapted from publicly available information. We do not share your ailment logs with Mayo Clinic.
- Firebase (Google): Used only for Crashlytics as described above.
miniMoti does not use analytics, advertising, or any other third-party tracking. We do not collect usage statistics or sell data.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have questions about this privacy policy, please open an issue in the project repository (if available) or contact the developer through your app store listing.
