I am thrilled to be teaching Math and Science to CFA's Fifth Graders! Together we will discover the powerful connections between Math and Science, as well as grow as leaders and members of the CFA community.
My family moved to Wilmington from New York City in 2010 after the birth of our daughter. We have enjoyed exploring all the beautiful nature North Carolina has to offer. During my free time I enjoy, traveling, reading, walking on the beach, and spending time with my family!
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics as well as a Masters of Science in Educational Technology.

I love being the Fifth Grade Reading and Social Studies teacher at Cape Fear Academy! I believe that students learn by doing – the best way to learn is to get involved in the content. I strive to help each and every student become the best reader, writer, historian, and citizen they can be. I look forward to guiding them through the journeys and discoveries that make up the 5th grade!
I grew up in Winston-Salem, NC, but after moving to Wilmington in 2002, I will never be able to live too far from the beach. In my spare time you can always find me with my nose in a book and my toes in the sand.
I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, a Masters of Education in Language and Literacy, and a Gifted Education Certification from UNC Wilmington. Go Seahawks!
