Looking for practices and strategies to befriend your mind? You've come to the right place. Oftentimes we feel out of control of our experience. And we aren't always wrong, as there is so much that is outside of our control! 

Through mindfulness, we can notice what's happening in the mind, and practice making that a safe place, regardless of what's happening outside of it.

About me

Hi! My name is Ms. Marcus, and I am so happy to be CEMS' Mindfulness Director this year! After 5 years of teaching middle school, and 5 more years teaching mindfulness to all grade levels (and adults) this feels like the perfect place for me to land. Out of school, I spend my days hanging out with my two daughters (ages 4 and 15 months), exercising, and eating all the ice cream. I love ice cream.
