At CEHS, students, parents/guardians, and counselors use a platform called SCOIR to facilitate and track the college admissions process. Through SCOIR you can search for 2-year, 4-year, and trade schools based on size, location, majors, academic fit and more. You can also access the latest admissions data and application requirements for each school.

Common Data Sets: Each year colleges publish detailed information about their most recent applicant pool and admissions process. A simple Google Search for “X university Common Data Set” should take you there. Most colleges will include a chart that indicates what factors are most important to them in the admissions process which I find particularly useful!
The College Essay Guy: Excellent (and accurate!) information about college admissions, the college essay, supplemental essay help and more.
YouVisit: Virtual tours of college campuses across the country.
College Board Big Future: College search tool similar to SCOIR.
