Bedrock consists of template code for a deterministic controller to communicate with a Windows PC. The template code supports many useful features, such as:
Logging Errors
Monitoring for EStop Conditions
Running simple profiles on the Controller
Logging test data to a TDMS file
Providing file integrity checks to profiles and other configuration files
Bedrock has been used with Emmerson's Compact RIO systems and with Delta's EMC Controllers. Bedrock can log data at up to 100kHz and can run up to 1kHz control loop rates. Bedrock may be run simulated without hardware, but on Windows the control loop rate and determinism are greatly diminished.
