Canyonsleeper provides the following services for the Aerospace industry:

Fixed Bid Consulting

If a project's scope of work is well defined, Canyonsleeper will provide a quote for performing the scope of work.  Creating a scope of work document that is bidable requires a level of detail that is challenging.  Canyonsleeper has scope of work templates that may be used as a starting point to define the needed scope as necessary to produce a bid.  These bids are generally provided free of charge.

Hourly Consulting

For developing or troubleshooting existing code, Canyonsleeper provides hourly charge for its service.  Contact sales@canyonsleeper.com for rate inquiries.

Code Ownership

Canyonsleeper has the policy of providing all possible code to the customer.  Generally all code falls into one of the following categories:

1. Driver Software: Driver software such as Emmerson's DAQmx is provided without source code.  Canyonsleeper will provide version numbers of the driver software but not the source code.

2. Open Source Code Licensed for Commercial Use: Open Source that may be used in commercial applications is provided to the customer upon delivery of the software.  Code in this category may require that credits to the Open Source be placed somewhere in the application, such as in an "About" dialog.  Code in this category is provided to the customer and the completed software executable(s) will have an "About.." menu to show a dialog to credit the open source.

3. Canyonsleeper Reuse Code: Canyonsleeper has several reuse libraries compiled into packed project libraries.  These libraries are not editable, but the source code for the libraries in provided as part of the deliverables.  Packed project libraries are used to make the code more efficient and standardize development practices.  They are not used to make code proprietary. 

4. Canyonsleeper Template Code: Canyonsleeper has code templates that are used to decrease development time and cost.  These code templates are owned by Canyonsleeper and not delivered to the customer.  However, the code instantiated and customized from the template is owned by the customer and provided in full to the customer.

5. Custom Created Code: Code created specifically for the customer is owned by the customer. This code is generally retained in Canyonsleeper Source Code Control, but may be deleted on request by the customer.

Bedrock and Breeze Templates

Bedrock and Breeze templates are used to make code development more reliable, less costly, and quicker to deliver.
