Canutillo teachers use both formative and summative assessment to inform instruction and guide learning. 

Common unit assessments are formative assessments that are aligned with state standards and follow the YAG outlined in TEKS RS. These assessments are created for each core content area in grades 3-12.  Eduphoria is used so that the data is easily disaggregated.

Summative assessments such as the Interim and STAAR ready help provide a summary of learning and can be used to plan interventions when needed.
