District Guarantees - Classroom Data Profiles

Classroom Data Profiles are an essential district guarantee because they help teachers understand where students are and help them track their growth. These profiles contain pertinent data about our students including previous performance on district benchmarks, EL status, and special needs. The classroom profile can be used for arranging students into appropriate groups for differentiated instruction. Having important student data at the teacher's fingertips will assist teachers in planning lessons with a greater awareness of student needs and lead to appropriate modifications in instruction and delivery.

Classroom data profiles should be created by mid September and include the minimum expectations below:

Updated after each district benchmark (Fall ready, STAAR ready and Interim)
Special population data (SPED, ELL, GT, 504, at-risk, TELPAS)
Prior STAAR performance should be color coded (see right)

Instructional Coaches and/or Administrators, with the ability to edit data views in Eduphoria, should first create a Campus data profile by grade level. Campus teachers can then copy and edit this spreadsheet to include only students in their classroom. A sample classroom profile can be seen below.
