This is my second year on the Robotics team, I am taking the helm on the Marketing and Design for the team. Being on this team I hope to bring it to new heights and help future generations get interested in STEAM and Robotics.
I'm a senior at Canton High School who primarily focus's on drawing and general arts. I joined robotics because I have some friends in the club and it seemed interesting to me.
I have a wide variety of interests and a busy schedule. I participate in numerous after school activities, have quite a few hobbies, and work a part time job. When the weather is warm, I often bike around my hometown for exercise. Academically, I always put a lot of effort into gaining an understanding of every topic covered, sometimes more than is required. I try to overcome my disorganized tendencies, but it helps to enjoy learning about new subjects and ideas. I love debate and participate in Model UN whenever possible. I am most comfortable in a larger group, but one that contains people I am familiar with. Overall, I tend to be quiet until I am surrounded by friends. Generally, I try to do new things every so often, which is what led to me joining the robotics team. Since then, I have become dedicated to it, attending multiple meetings per week on top of other activities.
Throughout my time as a student I have always been interested in math and science. Outside of school I have maintained a steady interest in computers and CADD/CAM. I joined the team to learn about how robots functions and how they could be used to accomplish the same task in many different ways.
