CANTON HIGH SCHOOL GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP CERTIFICATE (GCC)
The Global Citizenship Certificate (GCC) is a portfolio credential that allows Canton High School students to document and explain how their language proficiencies and cultural experiences have prepared them as global citizens. Through a series of personalized student learning experiences, including interdisciplinary academic study, approved language and cultural projects, community service to specific linguistic populations, and participation in student trips/exchanges, students will demonstrate their capacity to live, serve, work, and contribute effectively in our diverse and interconnected world. Students interested in this opportunity should begin the program as early as possible in their high school career, preferably in grade 9, so that they can fulfill all program requirements.
