Cheer will be in the weight room on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. Here girls will be building muscle and stamina as they prepare for their season. Though the conditioning is not mandatory, it is highly encouraged to attend these hour trainings where we will isolate muscle groups to help our cheerleaders build muscle and endurance for games and competitions.
Over the summer, cheer will meet in the mornings to condition after practice in the weight room and outside on the basketball courts. Girls are encouraged to bring a yoga mat for outside training.
Disclaimer: Please do not use weights for training when you do not have a coach or well-trained friend to spot you. The last thing we want is for you to get hurt.
