Converting PDF's to Docs

You may find that you wish to convert a PDF to and editable Google Docs. This can be done, however your new Google doc will need some extra formatting help.

PDF that is in your Google Drive:

• Select the PDF
• Right click on the title and choose Open with Google Docs
• Google Docs will convert the file to an editable Google Doc.

Note that you will have two copies, one a pdf and one a Google Doc

PDF that is in your computer:

• Starting in Google Drive
• Select New --->Upload file
• Locate the PDF in your computer files and select open.
• Follow directions as if the PDF is in your Drive

Selecting one page from a large PDF

• Open the large PDF
• Select Print
• Select Change Destination
• Select "Save as PDF" or "Microsoft PDF Writer"
• Choose a folder and name the file
• Select Save
• Continue with steps listed above.
