Note: There are many good "translation websites" online. However, I can always tell when students use a website instead of doing their own homework.
As a general rule, translators are great for looking up words. That said, they are not great for whole sentences, so don't use them for that. Look up the word(s) you need and do the rest of the homework yourself.

- Online Picture Dictionary - this is a very visual way to learn new vocab. If this is your learning style, you might be able to make fast progress with new vocabulary.
- DeepL - this is a top-notch translator but make sure the word it gives you "makes sense" in context. Sometimes there are multiple options so choose wisely.
- Leo Dictionary - this German dictionary gives you all the possible options, so you have to think about which one is best. It is a good way to learn German vocab.
- Girls For Teaching - a German girl made a series of videos about the basics of the language. If you want to hear a young person's perspective, you could watch some of these video lessons.
